Pedestrian struck, killed in Feltonville

FELTONVILLE (WTXF) - Police say a pedestrian was struck and killed by a driver in Feltonville early Saturda morning.

Just before 5 a.m., a driver traveling northbound on the 4700 block of Whitaker Avenue struck a man who had just exited his vehicle.

The victim was pronounced dead shortly thereafter. Police have not yet identified him.

The driver did remain on the scene following the accident. No word on whether charges will be filed at this time.
