Pennsylvania veteran-owned breweries assemble for beer collaboration

Veteran-owned breweries across the state of Pennsylvania are joining forces to make a special ale aimed at honoring military service members.

The 15-brewery cohort will work to concoct a double IPA and will use Newfangled Brewery in Harrisburg as their base camp.

Root Down Brewing in Pheonixville, Aston Abbey Brewing Company in Aston, and Cox Brewing in Elizabethtown are among the divisions involved in this mission. You can see the complete list here

Aside from the breweries, this project also received back-up from veteran-owned businesses such as Deer Creek Malthouse, GEMS Hop Farm and First Sip Brew Box.

The beer is scheduled to deploy on Memorial Day weekend and all the proceeds will go to charity.
