Person struck by Amtrak train in Delco

PROSPECT PARK, Pa. (WTXF) - Authorities are investigating after an Amtrak train struck a person on the tracks Sunday afternoon.

It happened near the Norwood Station in Prospect Park around 1:30 p.m.

According to the Amtrak spokesperson, there were 125 passengers on board and no one on the train was hurt.

Police have not yet released any information on the victim.

Train traffic was restored at 3 p.m.
