Person struck by train; SEPTA, Amtrak service resumes

Outbound service on SEPTA's Trenton line has been restored after a person was struck and killed by a train. Amtrak's Northeast Corridor is also experienced delays as a result of the incident.

A person was struck around 8 a.m. near SEPTA's Bridesbrug Station.

Following the incident, SEPTA suspended outbound service on their Trenton Regional Rail Line. Meanwhile, FOX 29's Bob Kelly reports Amtrak is also expecting delays due to the incident, but their trains were getting by the scene on a single track

SKYFOX was over the scene as officials investigated the deadly incident.
