Pets rescued from late night rowhome fire

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - A fire in North Philadelphia is under investigation.

It broke out just after 11pm Monday at a rowhome in the 3400 block of Joyce Street.

The fire was placed under control at 11:30.

The family was able to make it out safely, but firefighters rushed in to rescue their two pets.

There's no word yet on the cause.
