Philadelphia Fire Deparment truck struck by SUV in Center City

A driver struck a Philadelphia Fire Department truck in Center City Sunday evening knocking down a street light.

According to officials, the incident occurred at 7:01 p.m. on 23 rd and Market Streets.

Ladder 9 was responding to a call when they were T-boned by a 2016 Porsche SUV driven by a 35-year-old white female.

The fire truck then knocked down a street light and a PPA kiosk before coming to rest against the side of the PECO building.

No injuries were reported and the crash was not the result of a DUI.
