Philadelphia police search for missing 83-year-old man

PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Philadelphia police are searching for a missing 83-year-old man from East Mount Airy.

According to police, Chaucy Archer was reported missing around 8:30 a.m. Thursday. He was last seen at his residence on the 6800 block of Crittenden Street.

Police say he is known to frequent the area of Germantown and Chelten Avenues and Wister Street.

Chaucy is described as bald, 6'2", 175 lbs, with a very thin build, hazel eyes with a light brown complexion. He was last seen wearing tan khaki pants, a blue plaid shirt, a burgundy sweatshirt and light gray dress hat with tan shoes. Chaucy suffers from Alzheimer's disease.
