Philly Feast opening appetites, closing streets

The DNC is kicking off with something people of all political persuasions like to do, and that's eat!

It's called Philly Feast, and it's a food truck festival fit for the City of Brotherly Love, running 11am-3pm Monday.

Look for a diverse lineup of local food, live music and a slate of Philly-centric retail vendors bringing together convention attendees, volunteers and Philadelphia residents for the tastiest party in town.

You'll find it on 3rd and Arch streets in Old City, but it'll ranger from Market to Race, and 2nd to 4th. Sections of those streets will be closed from 6am to 5pm. Also, the 48 bus (along Arch) and the 57 bus (along 3rd) will be rerouted due to those street closures.

There will also be live Entertainment. The main stage will feature performances from Julian King, Chill Moody, Philbilly and the B Street Band. Throughout the festival, attendees will also find roving musician dancers and other entertainers, creating a multifaceted arts and culture experience.

Plus, Pennsylvania-based vendors will showcase and sell their crafts, clothing, jewelry and other products. These vendors are from Philly, Lancaster, and beyond.
