Philly School District, Archdiocesan and parochial schools to reopen Thursday

PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - All School District of Philadelphia schools will open Thursday on a 2-hour delay. Archdiocesan high schools and parochial elementary schools in the City of Philadelphia will also have a 2-hour delay Thursday.

Snow began falling again in the city and surrounding suburbs almost exactly at 11 a.m. Wednesday after a morning of mostly rain, sleet, and light snow. The storm produced "thundersnow," with flashes of lightning and booming thunder in some areas. Now, people are digging out.
