Plane from PHL Makes Emergency Landing in North Carolina

Raleigh, NC (WTXF) Officials say a flight that departed from the Philadelphia International Airport made an emergency landing in Raleigh, North Carolina, on Wednesday evening.

According to airport officials, Republic airlines flight 4488 reported smoke in the cockpit, which prompted them to land. The flight was heading to Jacksonville, Florida.

Officials say the plane landed without incident and was towed to the gate. No injuries were reported. There was no smoke, just an odor reported.
