Police: 1 critical after daytime shooting in West Oak Lane

WEST OAK LANE (FOX 29) - Police are investigating after a shooting in West Oak Lane left one person in critical condition Tuesday morning.

Officers responded to the 6500 block of North 17th Street just after 11 a.m.

A male victim was transported to Albert Einstein Medical Center with multiple gunshot wounds.

The Wagner School, located on nearby West Chelten Avenue, was placed on a brief lockdown due to police activity.

No arrests have been made at this time. This is an ongoing investigation.
