Police: 1 dead, 1 injured in Northeast Philly shooting

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Police are investigating following a deadly double shooting in Crescentville Friday evening.

Around 10:30 p.m., officers responded to the 500 block of Cheltenham Avenue, where they found two men suffering from gunshot wounds.

A 27-year-old man, who was found unresponsive, was transported to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. A 24-year-old man was also transported to the hospital, where he was treated for a gunshot wound to his forearm.

No arrest have been made at this time. This is an ongoing investigation.
