Police: 17-year-old girl missing from West Philadelphia

WEST PHILADELPHIA (FOX 29) - Police are asking for the public's help locating a teenage girl reported missing from West Philadelphia.

Essence Tyevaa Williams, 17, was last seen at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday on the 1800 block of Merribrook Road.

Police describe Williams as 5-foot-4, 165 pounds, with a medium build and light brown complexion. She has brown eyes and curly, black, shoulder-length hair.

She was last seen wearing a gray Overbrook polo with tan pants.
