Police: 2 adults and teen hosted hundreds of underage drinkers

DREXEL HILL, PA (WTXF) Cell phone video shows the chaotic scene. A quiet neighborhood in Drexel Hill more like a nightclub after police say two adults and a teenager hosted hundreds of underage drinkers Saturday night.

It was much quieter Monday at the Mary Street home where Upper Darby police say they discovered 300 underage teens allegedly guzzling alcohol and smoking pot. Neighbors say it was thrown by the homeowners' 17-year-old daughter.

"It was like Broad Street on this quiet little street. It was cars pulling up every two minutes. Kids coming up in groups, just nonstop. Kids all over the place," said neighbor Chris Mulhern.

Chris Mulhern lives right next door. He and other neighbors watched as police tried to scatter the high school aged kids around 10:30 p.m..

"The kids starts jumping over the back fence, like antelope," he said.

Police Superintendent Michael Chitwood says 54-year-old Abdul Ahmaddiya was home and told authorities he gave permission to the teens to drink and party at his house. He and his partner 45- year-old Nishelle were later arrested and charged for allegedly hosting the wild night. Their daughter was cited, according to police.
