Police: 2 men sought in South Philadelphia assault

Police are searching for two men wanted in connection with an assault in South Philadelphia on Nov. 12.

According to authorities, two men engaged in a verbal dispute with a 34-year-old victim at the Lucky Star convenience store on the 7000 block of Elmwood Avenue. The argument allegedly turned violent when the suspects attacked the man and dislocated his shoulder.

Police say the suspects fled the scene and were last spotted heading east on Elmwood Avenue.

Authorities estimate the suspects are both 20-year-old black men 5-foot-8. Police say one of the suspects has a heavy build and was last seen wearing a dark gray jacket with light gray sweatpants. The accomplice is believed to have a thin build and was last seen wearing a gray long sleeve shirt, black pants and red sneakers.
