Police: 2 suspects sought in Kensington armed robbery

KENSINGTON (WTXF) - Police are searching for two suspects wanted in connection with an armed robbery on Christmas eve in Kensington.

Police say two men entered the Dollar General located on the 2000 block of Aramingo Avenue around 8:30 p.m.. One suspect allegedly held the cashier's arm and demanded money from the drawer, while the other suspect kept watch at the storefront.

According to authorities, the suspect took an undisclosed amount of money from the drawer. The two men fled the store in an unknown direction.

Police did not offer a description of the two suspects. Police video shows both men wearing dark-colored hooded sweatshirts and masks. One of the suspects was recorded wearing dark colored pants and the other was in khaki colored pants.
