Police: 3 juveniles ejected in Crescentville multi-vehicle accident
CRESCENTVILLE (FOX 29) - Five people were injured in a multi-vehicle accident in Crescentville.
Police were called to Whitaker Avenue and Roosevelt Boulevard Saturday just before 4 p.m. on the report of an auto accident.
Police arrived to find five people injured. Officials say three of the five were juveniles ejected from one of the two vehicles involved.
According to authorities, one adult was transported to Albert Einstein Medical Center, while another adult was transported to Jefferson Torresdale. The conditions of both adults are not known.
One 10-year-old was rushed to Albert Einstein and was listed in critical condition. That child has since been transferred to St. Christopher's Hospital for Children and upgraded to stable condition. A five-year-old was transported to St. Christopher's Hospital for Children and is listed in critical condition. A third five-year-old was transported to an area hospital and is listed in stable condition.
Police say the cause of the accident is under investigation.
