Police: 3 killed in North Philadelphia shooting

Police say three more people were fatally shot in Philadelphia on Saturday after a violent night that left two others dead and seven injured.

Around 1:30 p.m., officers responded to the 2100 block of North 10th Street, where an unidentified woman was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim was shot multiple times and transported to Temple University Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Another victim, an unidentified man, was found suffering from a single gunshot wound to the head in a vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 35-year-old man who police say was "being held as a prisoner" at Temple University Hospital, was also shot in the head. He succumbed to his injuries Saturday afternoon.

Two firearms were also recovered from the scene.
