Police: 7 escape Delaware house fire, arson suspected
MIDDLETOWN, Del. (AP) -- Authorities say seven people, including five children, escaped without injury after their home in Delaware was set on fire while they were sleeping.
The Delaware Office of the State Fire Marshal says in a news release that the fire in Middletown was reported early Monday. A volunteer fire company extinguished the blaze.
The fire marshal says the fire was intentionally set.
Damage was estimated at $10,000 and displaced the residents.
