Police arrest man in connection to 4-alarm fire in Port Richmond
PORT RICHMOND (FOX 29) - A Philadelphia man has been arrested in connection to a four alarm fire that tore through a Port Richmond warehouse on Apr. 6th, officials say.
Joseph Wolbert has been charged with arson and other related crimes, according to police.
Wolbert is allegedly responsible for the Sunday evening inferno at the 'Thrifty Irishman' store on the 2000 block of East Butler Street.
The blaze took roughly 150 firefighters to snuff, and caused two sides of the building to collapse.
Detectives were able to identify Wolbert as a suspect and arrested him Friday.
This investigation is ongoing.
