Police: Body discovered in Mullica River by fishermen

New Jersey State Police are investigating the discovery of a body found in the Mullica River in Burlington County.

Police say fisherman discovered the body and immediately alerted police just before 11:00 a.m. Saturday morning.

New Jersey State Police Marine units responded to the scene and recovered the body. They will release the body to the medical examiner's office to determine how the individual died and determine their identity.
