Police clear scene after suspicious vehicle found near White House

WASHINGTON - Officers have cleared the scene after a suspicious vehicle was identified near the White House. The incident was reported before 8:30 a.m. Wednesday along 17th street in Northwest D.C.

Officials say the new Executive Office Building was evacuated. Several roads in the area were closed and traffic was delayed in the area.

No injuries were reported.
