Police: Driver flees after slamming truck into North Philadelphia home

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (FOX 29) - Police are investigating after a truck driver slammed into a North Philadelphia home overnight.

Around 12:45 a.m. on Sunday, officers responded to the 700 block of North 10th Street, where the driver fled after striking the side of the house.

Police say the car went through a pillar that holds up the porch of the home and into a fence.

No one inside the home was injured as a result of the crash. It is unclear whether the truck driver was injured, as they remain at large.

No arrests have been made at this time. This is an ongoing investigation.
