Police: Employees Ties Up During Aston, PA Pharmacy Robbery

ASTON, Pa. - Police in Delaware County are looking for a suspect following an armed robbery at a CVS Pharmacy Saturday night. Investigators believe this incident is connected to a string of robberies across the area.

The latest incident occurred around 10:10 p.m. on the 5000 block of Pennell Road in Aston.

Police say two black males entered the store around closing time and acted as if he was shopping.

The armed man then tied up employees and robbed the store. None of the employees were physically harmed.

According to police the suspects made off with an undetermined amount of cash. One of the suspects was described as a black male in his mid-20s standing six feet tall with a long white sleeve shirt, and tattoos on the left side of his face.

The other suspect was armed with a handgun and described as a black male with a dark shirt, blue hat, and blue shorts.

No drugs were taken.

Police believe this robbery may be connected to a robbery at a CVS in Abington at the end of June, as well as a Newtown Borough CVS robbery earlier in July.
