Police ID man found bound, stabbed, burned in West Philadelphia home

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Police have identified the 29-year-old man they discovered bound, stabbed and burned in a Philadelphia home as Raphie Brandon.

The investigation is ongoing with the Homicide Unit.

Fire crews had been called to an Overbrook Park home shortly after 3:30 a.m on Saturday, September 9 and found that a blaze had been set in the basement of the property.

After putting out the fire, they found Brandon on a bed with his hands bound by a belt in front of him. They said the victim had been stabbed numerous times and partially burned.

No arrests have been made at this time.
