Police identify suspect shot by Del. trooper during traffic stop

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) -- Delaware State Police have identified the man who they say was shot and killed after dragging a trooper with his vehicle Friday afternoon.

Police identified the man Saturday as Adam Radcliffe, a 30-year-old from Wilmington.

Police said the trooper saw Radcliffe drive erratically and strike a pole before the trooper approached him at a shopping center. Radcliffe sped off with the trooper attached to the passenger side of the vehicle, police said.
