Police investigate assault in Center City

PHILADELPHIA (FOX 29) - Philadelphia police are investigating an assault on the 1300 block of Walnut Street in Center City.

It happened Sunday, Jan. 27 around 11 p.m.

Police say a 50-year-old man was attacked by four men and a woman. The victim was transported to Jefferson University Hospital after suffering a head injury and is listed in stable condition.

Police did not release any other information but said the investigation is ongoing.
