Police investigate deadly shooting in Nicetown

NICETOWN (WTXF) - Philadelphia Police are investigating a homicide that left a 34-year-old man dead Friday morning in the city's Nicetown section.

The incident occurred on the 3800 block of North 18 th Street around 10:30 a.m..

Police say the victim was shot twice, once in the chin, and once in the chest. Officers transported the victim to Temple Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

No weapons have been recovered and no arrests have been made at this time/
