Police investigate double shooting in Hunting Park

Hunting Park (WTXF) - Police are investigating a double shooting that happened Friday afternoon.

According to police, they responded to a call for a 'person with a gun' on Friday around 4:00 P.M. near the 600 block of Rising Sun Avenue. When police arrived on scene, the complainants had already been taken to Temple Hospital by a private vehicle.

Police went to the hospital and were notified that an unidentified 29-year-old man died from multiple gunshot wounds at 4:27 P.M.

Another 24-year-old man had a gunshot wound in his arm and was listed in stable condition.

Police have not yet identified a motive at this time. The investigation is still active and ongoing.
