Police investigate hit-and-run in Powelton

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) Police are investigating a hit-and-run in the city's Powelton neighborhood.

According to police, the call came in a little before 8:30 p.m. Wednesday that a 27-year-old Drexel graduate was struck by a vehicle.

Officers are saying that a red or maroon colored minivan with tinted windows hit the man and took off.

The man was treated for hand scrapes and bruises.

Police are searching for the driver of the vehicle.
