Police issue Gold Alert for man who ‘made statements that cause a concern for his welfare'

Police in Delaware issued a Gold Alert for a man they responded to a missing person report on, Sunday morning, after learning he left his home "and then made statements that cause a concern for his welfare."

It started in Bear, in the community of Village of Lakecroft, at about 5:15a.m.

New Castle County police got to the 100 block of Belltown Terrace for a missing person report in regards to Stephen E. King.

The 33-year-old is described as 6'0" tall, weighing 230 lbs., bald, with green eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt and tan shorts, and police say he may be driving a gray 2017 Ford F-150 with Delaware plate C21522.
