Police: Man, 21, critical after being shot, robbed in Olney

OLNEY (WTXF) - A 21-year-old man is in critical condition after being shot in the back overnight in the Olney section of the city.

It happened just blocks from the victim's home on the 4800 block of North 5th street around 1:30 a.m.

Police say the shooter was seen reaching into the victim's pockets after the shooting, so they believe it was a robbery.

This is an ongoing investigation. No arrests have been made at this time.
