Police: Man, 24, injured in South Philly shooting

Police are investigating following a shooting in South Philadelphia that left one man injured early Sunday morning.

Just after 1 a.m., police responded to the 1400 block of South Christopher Columbus Boulevard, where they found a 24-year-old man suffering a gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.

Police say the suspect stayed on the scene, and a weapon was recovered.

The suspect has not yet been identified.
