Police: Man, 26, critical after being shot in the face in West Philadelphia

Police are investigating after a 26-year-old man was critically injured in a West Philadelphia shooting overnight.

Shortly before 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, officers responded to North 63rd Street and Haverford Avenue, where the victim was shot three times in the hip and face.

Authorities say the victim ran into Lincoln Fried Chicken, where police came and transported him to Penn Presbyterian Hospital.

No arrests have been made at this time. This is an ongoing investigation.
