Police: Man, 26, shot and killed in West Philadelphia

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed in West Philadelphia on Monday morning.

Just after 9 a.m., officers responded to the 4000 block of Wallace Street, where they found a 26-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds to the neck and chest.

The victim was transported to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

Police say the shooter was arrested. The suspect has yet to be identified.
