Police: Man, 31, injured in South Philadelphia shooting

Police are investigating after a man was injured in a South Philadelphia shooting overnight.

Just after 1 a.m. on Sunday, officers responded to the 2200 block of Sigel Street, where a 31-year-old man was shot once in the thigh.

The victim was transported to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where he is listed in stable condition.

Police say two different guns appear to have been used in the shooting. At least 15 shell casings were recovered from the sene.

This is an ongoing investigation. No arrests have been made at this time.
