Police: Man, 57, charged in Atlantic City stabbing

Police say the suspect responsible for stabbing a man in Atlantic City has been arrested.

Bobby Barley, 57, was arrested Saturday for stabbing a 59-year-old man on the 1400 block of Memorial Avenue Thursday, July 5.

According to police, Barley and the victim got into a physical altercation when Barley cut the victim's forehead and stabbed him with a box cutter.

Barley reportedly fled the scene, and the victim was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Further investigation led to Barley being identified as the suspect. A warrant was then issued for Barley's arrest.

Barley, who was found to be concealing a knife in his waistband at the time of his arrest, has been charged with aggravated assault and related offenses.

Barley is now in custody at Atlantic County Justice Facility.
