Police: Man found fatally shot in Chester home

UPLAND (WTXF) - Police are investigating after a man was fatally shot near Crozer Park Saturday morning.

Chester police initially responded to a call for shots fired on the 1400 block of Kerlin Street shortly before 9 a.m., but nothing was found. Shortly after 9 a.m., police received a second call for a shooting victim inside a home on the same block.

Upon their arrival, police located a man who they say appears to be in his early 40's suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives from Chester and Delaware County are investigating.
