Police: Man shot through living room window in West Philly

Police are investigating after a man was shot through his living room window in West Philadelphia overnight.

The 56-year-old man was home alone on the 700 block of North 36th Street when he heard someone knock at the door.

The man reportedly looked out his living room window to see three men. That's when police say one of the men shot at the victim through the living room window, striking him in the chest.

The victim was transported to Penn Presbyterian Hospital in stable condition.

Police are still searching for the three suspects.

No arrests have been made at this time.
