Police: Man simulating gun robbed Wawa

A man police say simulated he was armed with a weapon through his jacket pocket demanded money from a Wawa cashier, and was able to get away.

Now, police are asking for help catching him.

They say it happened back on May 22 at 1:10am at the store on Castor Avenue in Oxford Circle.

The man told the employee, "Give me all the 20s in the register."

The cashier gave him money and the robber got away on foot. He was last seen around Rutland Street and Castor Avenue.

No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as about 25 years old, with a medium to dark complexion, thin build and scruffy beard. He was wearing a dark hooded jacket with stripes, black pants, black and white sneakers, and a black book bag.
