Police: Missing Savannah toddler found, mother arrested

A Levi's Call, Georgia's Amber Alert system, has been canceled for a missing 22-month-old child who was taken from his father's home in Savannah.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation announced around 5:45 a.m. Tuesday that Jerry Sanders Sullivan had been found. Police said he was abducted by his biological mother, 34-year-old Aimee Lowery, who does not have custody of the boy.

Lowery has been charged with interference with custody, according to police.

Police said the mother's phone was pinged around Brooklet, Georgia shortly before the alert went out Monday evening. Authorities have not yet said where the two were found.

Police said Lowery lost custody of the young child and is a known drug abuser who was last known to be homeless. The child's father currently has custody.
