Police: Mother and daughter charged after two men killed in Port Richmond crash
PORT RICHMOND (WTXF) - Police say a mother and her 15-year-old daughter have been charged in connection with a crash that killed two men in a parking lot in Port Richmond earlier this month.

It happened on June 4 around 9 p.m. at a shopping center on Aramingo and Castor Avenues in Port Richmond.
According to police, 56-year-old David Abshire and his friend Tom Papineau were both killed after a 2008 black Ford Explorer hit them. Police say a 15-year-old girl was being guided into a parking spot near the pedestrians when the vehicle lunged forward striking the two males. Investigators say the impact knocked the men backwards into the wall. One man was pronounced dead at the scene and the other man died at the hospital.
Police say the owner of the vehicle 32-year-old Stephanie Hernandez was arrested and charged with Homicide by Vehicle, Involuntary Manslaughter and related offenses. In addition, the 15-year-old girl operating the vehicle at the time was charged with Homicide by Vehicle, Accident -Death - No License and Involuntary Manslaughter, according to authorities.
