PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Those men said Officer Winkler hired them to do work at one of his properties and he lured them to that meeting by promising extra money and pizzas.
Turns out, they say Winkler demanded one of the men give him all the money in his pockets. Police say Winkler only got about $38.
Winkler, 36, is charged with two counts of robbery, two counts of theft by unlawful taking, two counts of receiving stolen property, three counts of misdemeanor harassment, one count of summary harassment, two counts of official oppression and two counts of false imprisonment.
Philadelphia Police Commissioner Richard Ross suspended the 16-year veteran of the department for 30 days with the intent to dismiss.
