Police Officer struck by quad in Bridesburg

BRIDESBURG - A Philadelphia Police officer was struck by a quad at the intersection of Thompson Street and Bridge Street in Bridesburg.

The incident occurred shortly after 5 p.m. Sunday evening. The officer was not seriously injured.

Police are currently searching for the suspect involved in the incident. He is said to be a 5'8" white male, around 170 pounds.

The suspect is wearing a faded orange shirt, blue jeans, and Timberland boots. He was driving a black quad with flat back fenders.
