Police: Repeat robber strikes 7-Eleven again

Abington police say the man in the picture entered the 7-Eleven on Old York Road on Tuesday evening and "demanded all of the cash from the register" - and it wasn't the first time he did it.

They say he even lifted his jacket and implied he had a gun, but none was seen.

After, he ran away southbound on Old York Road and possibly east on Parkview Avenue.

Police say he's the same person who robbed the same convenience store a year and a half ago, on Jan. 7, 2015.

In that case, the robber removed a black, semi-automatic handgun from his waistband and demanded cash.

In both cases, the clerk was the only other person in the store and there were no injuries.

The suspect is described as 18-25 years old, 5'11" to 6'2" tall, possibly with a goatee and a broad nose. Anyone with information is asked to call Abington police at 267-536-1100 and select option #3.
