Police seek suspect in church donation box theft

Philadelphia Police are still looking for a man they say broke into a North Philadelphia church and stole a donation box.

On August 21, 2016, at around 11:00 pm, an unknown white male gained entry to Our Lady of Calvary Church on Knights Road by breaking the stained glass window on an outside door.

Once inside the suspect pried one money box from the wall containing an unknown amount of money and also took the money from inside a second money box. The suspect then fled the area in an unknown direction.

Police confirm this suspect is also wanted for 7 other commercial burglaries between August 14 and August 29, It is believed that all incidents were committed by the unknown male who may be operating a white Cadillac.

Police describe the suspect as a white male, early 40 years-of-age, 160 pounds, short grey hair, tattoo on right forearm,
