Police: Teen, 17, fatally stabbed in the Bronx in scuffle

NEW YORK (AP) -- Police say a Bronx teenager has been fatally stabbed following a confrontation with someone who asked him for money.

Officials say Saturday an unknown suspect stabbed 17-year-old Carl Ducasse late Saturday on a street corner in the borough's Mount Hope neighborhood.

They say the Ducasse was stabbed following a struggle with the suspect who had asked him for money.
The suspect then fled. There have been no arrests.

Ducasse was rushed by ambulance to St. Barnabas Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
A phone number registered to Ducasse's family was not in service.
