Police: Woman, 20, stabbed inside Lincoln High School during altercation

MAYFAIR (FOX 29) - A woman was taken to the hospital after Philadelphia police say she was stabbed inside Lincoln High School during an altercation.

The incident occurred inside the school on the 3200 block of Ryan Avenue in Mayfair around 9:30 a.m. Thursday.

Police say the 20-year-old victim was stabbed once in the head by another female. Medics transported the victim to the hospital where she was listed in stable condition.

One person was taken into custody following the incident, and a weapon was recovered.
