Residents fed up with string of violence at New Jersey apartment complex

Residents at the the Arborwood Apartment complex are fed up with what they say is a long string of violence. At least three people have been shot there this year.

"I'll be moving out within two to three days tops. Like I can't deal with it anymore. It's too much drama." Susan Myers says she's had enough of the violence in the Arborwood Apartments in Lindenwold where just two nights ago, a man in his late 20s was shot and hospitalized.

Neighbors say gunfire here has become all too regular.

"That's what scared me the most. Like I can't tolerate that too much," Myers said.

Earlier this year, cops say two men were killed in the East Gibbsboro Road complex. A 32-year-old man was shot multiple times and died back in May. One month before that another killing took place.

Neighbors tell us they want more police patrolling the complex. Police can only say they are aware of the problems.

Many of the units appeared to be abandoned and some residents we spoke with say they will be the next ones out.

FOX 29 has been unable to reach managers with the Arborwood complex. We will continue to seek a comment from them.
