Retired Tampa K-9 Deebo dies after years of service

TAMPA, Fla. (FOX 35 ORLANDO) - On Tuesday, the Tampa Police Department announced on their Facebook page that one of their former police dogs, K-9 Deebo, had passed away.

K-9 Deebo retired from the force in 2017 with his handler, M. Bridges.

"This K-9 team was truly one of the departments most loved," the department wrote.

The police department said that Deebo was a regular at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa where he would patrol and help keep the community safe.

"Thank you for your service."
